Registration

Requirements:

All students must complete and submit an application for admission on the basis that he/she has reached the age of sixteen, has completed the eighth grade in a secondary school or its equivalent. Students must sign an agreement to abide by all the rules and regulations set forth by WCBI and the State of Pennsylvania regarding barber styling.
Students will be instructed in barber sciences such as haircutting, massaging, hygiene, professional ethics and barbershop demeanor.

Tuition & Fees:

Full & Part Time

$9,687.50 (Student without Cosmetologist License)

$5,697.05 (Already an Licensed Cosmetologist)

Generally:

There will be a $650 equipment cost that will be required upon enrolling at WCBI. This will include all equipments, uniforms and books. In house Financing available.

State Requirements:

According to the State of Pennsylvania each student must complete 1250 hours of classroom and practical training over a period of nine months. Each student will have the opportunity to devote one hour per day to theory lecture and five hours for practical work. Upon application to the Board, cosmetologist will be given 555 hours of credit for subjects previously covered in the cosmetology training courses, to be applied to the 1,250 hour training requirement.

Upon successful completion of the State Board examination, the student will be licensed to practice the art of Barbering. They will now be qualified for employment as a barber and ready to conquer the work force.
